Stephen Cloonan

Stephen has more than 20 years鈥� experience as Chairman and non-executive director. He started his career as a Chartered Accountant with PwC. He left there to do a management-buy-in to a retail consumer electronics business which he ran for 14 years and sold in 1997. In 1995 and again in 1997 he was named as one of Europe鈥檚 top 500 Entrepreneurs as part of the European Commission sponsored 鈥淓urope 500鈥� Project. As a non-executive director, Stephen鈥檚 role varies depending on the circumstances. With his diverse experience he is particularly well placed to assist management teams and contribute to discussions on strategy. He often mentors the CEO and is comfortable both in family businesses and those with outside investors.
